This review is from: Casio Men's GW7900B-1
G-Shock Solar Atomic Black Digital Sport Watch (Watch)
I have had the GW7900B for a year and a few months now, and I am very happy with it. The watch is all black, and the digital face is inverted so that Casio Men's GW7900B-1 is black with light gray for the numbers. That means the watch is pretty much all black, which is a very nice look. The inverted digital face does make Casio Men's GW7900B-1 a little tough to read in low light situations, but the G button just below the watch face lights up the time, date and other information with the same kind of indiglo effect that I have had for years with Timex Ironman watches. The lighting effect makes this Casio Men's GW7900B-1 easy to read at any time. You also have the option to have the lighting effect happen with the turn of you wrist so you can see the watch information without having to push a button. This is a large watch. The body of the watch is almost 3/4 of an inch thick, which is the thickest watch I have come across. While

Casio Men's GW7900B-1

is a large watch, it is very light, because most of the body is plastic. The face of the watch is scratch resistant, and it is recessed into the watch about a quarter of an inch, so Casio Men's GW7900B-1 is well protected.

The watch is loaded with features. 1) The time is set every night through radio signals from an atomic clock. Every night at a few minutes after midnight the watch will try to update the time from the atomic clock. If it is unable to update the time, then it will try again every hour through the night until it gets an update. This makes the watch very accurate. Casio Men's GW7900B-1 has been off by less than half a second from any of my other atomic clocks or the atomic time that you can get over the internet. This will be the most precise watch you will probably ever own. 2) The battery on the Casio Men's GW7900B-1 is recharged by solar panels in the watch face. The fully charged battery is supposed to be able to last about nine months without a recharge, but the solar panel in the watch face picks up a charge in direct or indirect sunlight keeping the watch battery topped of unless you hide in a dark room all day. When I first received the watch the battery indicator showed the battery was a little low. I put the watch in indirect sunlight by setting it on a table by a window that the sun does not shine through. About 3 hours later I checked on the watch, and the battery was fully charged. Since then the battery has remained fully charged with just the partial sunlight the Casio Men's GW7900B-1 gets from me commuting to work. So I don't expect any battery problems. A cool feature for those of you who may not use the watch for a while, it turns off late at night and will not turn back on until you pick it up. So the battery does not drain much if you do not use the watch. 3) I travel across the country for work, and the watch is very easy to reset to other time zones. Casio Men's GW7900B-1also has a world time feature that lets you check the time in every time zone around the world just by clicking through the different zones. 4) Like just about every digital watch this one also has a stop watch. The stop watch capabilities are not as thorough as sports watches. For example, you can get a split time, but you wouldn't be able to take several split times like you could with a Timex Ironman watch. 5) The watch has a countdown timer so you can let yourself know when you need to stop what you are doing and move on to the next thing. 6) There is an alarm function that allows you to set four alarms and one alarm with a snooze feature. 7) The

Casio Men's GW7900B-1

shows the phase of the moon and where tide is. 8) The watch is water resistant to 20 bar, which converts to something like 170 meters. So you can pretty much wear the watch in most underwater conditions you will find yourself.

So to wrap things up, this is turning out to be a great watch for me. It is super accurate, does not look like it will ever need a battery change, and looks really nice. I recommend it, and I would buy it again.

I had seen this GUESS Feminine Contemporary Watch in Macy's, and was planning on purchasing it there. They wouldn't allow me to use any coupons so I looked around on the internet and of course Amazon where I do most of my shopping had it! GUESS Feminine Contemporary Watch came extremely quickly even though it was near the Holidays, and it looks great! Free shipping and got it for cheaper than in stores.

I got it sized at Macy's since they sell it, and now wear GUESS Feminine Contemporary Watch all the time and get tons of compliments! GUESS Feminine Contemporary Watch is a great gold watch that has a large face, but does not look ridiculous on a girl's wrist.

I ABSOLUTELY recommend this GUESS Feminine Contemporary Watch if you are looking for a big gold GUESS Feminine Contemporary Watch. (Looks extremely similar to the Michael Kors watch but is much cheaper...

Casio Men's GX56-1ACR

G-Shock Tough Solar Mud Resistant Digital Sport Watch (Watch)
I have reviewed quite a few G-Shock watches, and this model is the biggest, and baddest of them all. Let me start with the looks. Casio Men's GX56-1ACR looks like a 5600 series on steroids, and basically that's what it is. It's large, but not too large, as a couple of people seem to say in some reviews. The display is sharp and crisp, and as I speak I am in a low lit room, with just my pc monitor and I can see the time clearly. Don't let anyone deter you from the negative display, as they have come a long way as of late, and are readable, except in the lowest of light. If its an issue for you, turn the watches auto illumination on, and you will always see the time!! This watch is a matte black with red writing, and accents, red pushers, and red alpha gel in the display. I'll talk about alpha gel in a bit. The band is large and can accommodate just about anyone's wrist. The band is also of the highest quality, and thicker and more comfortable than just about any Casio Men's GX56-1ACR I have come across. The double tang clasp is made out a metal that reminds me of the old die cast metal toys I had as a child, so the clasp is strong!! The buttons are covered in a red plastic, and are a little harder to push like the mudman, but this watch keeps out dust, dirt, and mud, so no big deal. For all you water sports people, this watch is the usual 200m, 20 bar water resistance, so no worries in the water. This

Casio Men's GX56-1ACR

will get noticed by everyone, as it is sleek, and very sporty looking. If you like the 5600 series, you will love this watch. A+ aesthetically.

The U.S. version of this watch has the tough solar power, while the Japanese version has the solar and multiband 6. Now while the atomic timekeeping is nice, Casio Men's GX56-1ACR not necessary for me. These watches are accurate, and you won't be messing around with the setting of the time anytime soon, unless you have to have, "to the second accuracy" at all times. The watch has 5 alarms and snooze, auto illumination, meaning twist the wrist, and the face lights up. Casio Men's GX56-1ACR has world time for over 40 cities, and I like the fact you can set dual time on the face. In other words, you can have your current time, and another city's time on the same screen, at the same time. It has a countdown timer and a stop watch as well. This model has the usual features of most mid to higher end G-Shocks, and incorporates the tough solar power, w/o the atomic. Feature wise, Casio Men's GX56-1ACR has everything you need.

This watch, according to Casio, is the most shock resistant structure they currently have available. Casio added another level of protection to the inside of the case called alpha gel, which makes the watch even more shock resistant by dampening vibrations and shock, before it ever effects the inside components. (very cool) The case is also double reinforced with twice the resin of normal G-Shocks all around the face, and corners of the face. In other words, this sucker is tough as nails. Tougher than any G-Shock before it!! They don't call this watch the king of G-Shock for nothing. It earns its name for sure.

I got this watch for a little over $100, and it's a steal at retail. ($150) If you can get it around $100, buy it. This watch is unique in appearance, very comfortable, you'll never have to change the battery, and is just a killer sports watch. Casio has done Casio Men's GX56-1ACR again with this one. There are also a few other colors worth noting. There's a black w/green face w/regular lcd, an all orange with reverse lcd, a black and blue Japanese version w/ reverse lcd, and limited edition black and purple w/ reverse lcd. In my opinion the black and red is the sharpest, and I usually go for blue and black anything, so that's saying a lot for this

Casio Men's GX56-1ACR

. Anyway you go, this watch is killer. Go buy it already. I hope this review helped someone in there decision.

By the way, for the record, I am a big guy, 6'1" 300+ lbs., and a 8.5 inch wrist, and the band has room for a lot more. Just an f.y.i. for big guys looking at this watch. Also for anyone with an average to small wrist, this watch is 53mm in diameter, so if you do not like big watches, look elsewhere. (Yeah, it's 2 inches wide, LOL)

Classic Analog Casio Women's LQ139A-7B3 (Watch)
This is the first Casio Women's LQ139A-7B3 product I had ever owned and with the exception of the band being too short I love the performance of the watch. Casio Women's LQ139A-7B3 has been keeping very accurate time for me and the numbers are large enough that I can easily see them at nightime. This watch is very plain and simple and it looks good when I am dressed casual. Casio Women's LQ139A-7B3 has a reputation of being a good

Casio Women's LQ139A-7B3

and was quite affordable. I am going to replace the band with something alittle longer and more stylish.

This review is from: Casio Men's MTG900DA-8V G-Shock MT-G Atomic Tough Solar Watch (Watch)
I bought my Casio Men's MTG900DA-8V over four years ago, and I was surprised to find Casio Men's MTG900DA-8V still being produced and sold by Casio as I browsed Amazon's watch selection.

Overall, I think Casio Men's MTG900DA-8V is a great timepiece, and I have never regretted buying mine. But, you will notice that I only gave it four stars, because like anything made by man, it isn't perfect. Here's the scoop:

>> Pro's <<

1. Superb accuracy. I live near Atlanta, Georgia, which is probably close to the limit of this watch's radio reception range. But even here, my watch will sync with the atomic time station over 99% of the time. But as another reviewer said, you will probably have to experiment with locations within your house where you leave the watch for its overnight radio sync process.

2. Not just water-resistant, this thing is waterproof. I have worn mine while doing all kinds of nasty chores, including mowing, weeding and related dirty jobs. And when I get in the shower afterward, I just leave the Casio Men's MTG900DA-8V on so that

Casio Men's MTG900DA-8V

gets a good clean-up, too. Never a problem.

3. Very tough. Again, I've worn mine doing some pretty harsh work, including using a chain-saw, axe and hammer. Never a problem.

4. The solar power is great. Some people may think that solar power is a gimmick, but here's the deal: since you should never have to replace a battery, your water-resistant (or waterproof) watch will stay that way. All my previous watches, including some pretty expensive ones, lost their water-resistance after they had a battery change. (Casio does say that their rechargeable batteries may need replacing some day, but mine are still going strong after more than four years.)

Casio Men's GW6900-1

G-Shock Atomic Digital Sport Watch (Watch)
Owning the original DW-6900 and then switching over to the Casio Men's GW6900-1 is like talking about night and day. I own both and I must say to Casio: You guy's are freaking awesome! My dream came true when they released this model. All the features of the newer model Casio Men's GW6900-1 in the same case design as the original. The Casio Men's GW6900-1 is a no hassle basic G with a world time function which boasts 31 time zones with 48 cities to choose from as your home town in order to calibrate it with the Atomic signal. That's another feature I wanted to talk about. Atomic time is one of my favorite features amongst all Casio Men's GW6900-1. This model so far hasn't skipped a sync at all. Then there's the 200 meter or 660 feet water resistance. Which means that your holding in your hand a dive watch. Next up is another favorite feature of mine which is the solar power. I loath Casio Men's GW6900-1 that don't boast this technology other than automatic time pieces which can be a bit pricey. Finally that last two features which are non negotiable to me when looking for a digital watch are the 24 hour stopwatch and 24 hour count down timer. These two features are a must for me on any digital. Let's also not forget the 3 daily alarms plus the 1 snooze.

Casio Men's GW6900-1

a great improvement over the 1 alarm the DW model had. In the end owning both the original and the newer model I must say that Casio has done an awesome job in revamping a classic!
